EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES, CLUBS & VISITS
In addition to timetabled lessons, there is a large
number of interschool sporting activities and visits,
which form an important part of school life. Many
sporting opportunities, clubs and other activities
take place either at lunchtime or after school:
chess, scrabble, table tennis, line dancing, and
bowls are just a few examples
These are excellent ways for pupils to develop
their own personal interests and enthusiasms and
as such the school is always delighted to receive
new suggestions from pupils and their parents.
Certain visits may be arranged to take place in
school time which are linked to particular topics
being studied, or presenters may visit school. In
order for such activities to take place, parents will
be invited to make a voluntary contribution towards
the cost. A full copy of the school’s charging policy
is available upon request at the School Office.
Other visits, including residential trips, may also
take place outside of normal school hours. The full
cost of these activities is expected to be covered
by parents.
"Club activities, residential trips and other
visits enrich the curriculum very well and
promote pupils’ enjoyment of subjects."

"In Brewers Hill there are a lot of
things that I like, but the clubs
definitely stand out for me. The
fact that some teachers can turn
something basic into something
really interesting is amazing."
Elliot Rhys, Yr. 6.
